I miss my camera!

My camera has died and gone to Pentax heaven. BUT, Thank goodness for warranties! Guess I will have to use Chris' at Disney World. I now realize how much of a photographers daughter I am. I talked to my Dad yesterday about helping him in photography. I think I need a change in career, and maybe photography is it. I did take some really good pics for Ben and Phat... :D

Home sweet Home!

Well it's been about a week since my darling husband came home. It's been a fun few days. We have been getting ready to go to Florida on vacation! We are going to go to Disney World and Sea World. So exciting!!!

Yesterday I made crafts with mom at her Relief Society activity. We made magnets for the fridge, I am really excited that I have matching magnets to go with my kitchen! Today Natalie and I are going to play with the Cricut >:D

So I thought

I thought that I had recently posted a new blog entry, but my blog tells me other wise. Chris called this morning to say he was back in the states! He is still not sure when he will be back home in Utah though. Some time next week is all we know. Spent half the day making a surprise for him. Don't worry, you can see it soon, if you don't already know what it is. Everyone is really excited. I got most of the house cleaned. I would assume we will be very busy the days after he arrives, we will be leaving for Florida soon after.

Zoe also took a couple steps today too! Gosh she is getting so big! She'll be walking any day now.

Cease Fire!

So we took my mom out to shoot guns for the first time this past weekend. It was quite the entertainment. We went to DI and got a bunch of things to use as targets. I got a turkey that says "Count your many Blessings", we shot that up real good. We also got a pink music box for Amber to shoot. Natalie got this ugly vase, and Ben an ugly plate. Mom used her banner from her previous job. Natalie brought her awesome pink 9mm, aka "The Pea Shooter", and I brought my Ruger 380.

i would post a picture, but I forgot my camera, and Amber still hasn't uploaded the ones I took on her camera.

Valentines Day

Yesterday we had a pretty relaxing Valentines day. I went out for breakfast with Pati, Dannyn, and Jannelle. Our waitress wasn't very good though. Took her more than an hour to bring us out or food and never stopped by our table during that time... no not even to refill our drinks. Oh well.
Later we decided to rent a couple movies at the Redbox and have a little bit of a movie marathon. That was fun. We vegged out at Dannyn's house eating candy, chips and home made salsa. Mmmm so good. Craving frozen yogurt covered in mounds and mounds of fruit now! Guess it's time to go get some!

Boise

Facebook oh Facebook .... How you have inspired me to take a much needed vacation, to see my wonderful military wives in Idaho. I am enjoying this 65° weather. It is a nice change from the snow. I'm excited to see old friends. Dannyn, Jannelle, Pati, and I are having so much fun!
Us girls went to the Mrs. Idaho pageant last night. It was fun to see. Eian's and his wife Jackie came down from Chico to go the pageant. She was Mrs. Idaho a couple years ago.
I am looking forward to going out tomorrow for Valentines Day. Us military wives are going to all go out to eat somewhere together. Maybe catch a movie too.

Time and all Eternity

I suppose it's time for an update.

Zoe is now 7 months old. She is eating everything now and also beginning to crawl. Man I gotta start baby proofing the house more! She just got a new toddler bed for when she turns 1.
Chris just left to go back to Iraq from his 2 week leave. We had a wonderful time together! It was great to have him over Christmas vacation!
We had the opportunity to see my sister Natalie and Ben get married in the Salt Lake Temple, and also had the privilege of going to the Logan Temple and get sealed ourselves a few days later. What wonderful blessing have come our way! Chris and I have been working on getting sealed for a couple years now, due to getting waiting for my sealing cancellation to my former spouse. Once my Stake President had my papers, he took them up to Salt Lake himself to hand deliver them. From there, what could easily take up to a year more, took 5 days for us to get the approval!!! In this sort of situation, they have to call up to the temple to let them know we are approved (instead of waiting for the letter to come in the mail). Since my dad was already in town for my sisters wedding, he was able to extend his trip a little longer so he could stay for the sealing. We were also able to have our beautiful daughter Zoe finally sealed to us also. I couldn't have asked for a better 2 weeks with my husband!
I thought it would be a lot harder that it was when he left again. It was still hard, but at least this time I know it wont be as long.
